Look Like Yourself,
in Every Light
Softglow is a doctor-led aesthetic clinic in a painter’s studio in St John’s Wood. Every treatment is planned in the even light of its north-facing window, so results look natural up close and across a room.

“We would rather do a little less, twice, than too much once. The face you have after a good holiday is the one we are working towards.”

Four Visits,
Twelve Weeks
Most results take a season to show properly, so every plan runs to the same calendar and every visit is with the same doctor.
Week 0
Consultation
Forty-five minutes with a doctor, a skin assessment in daylight and a written plan with prices.
Week 1
First treatment
The plan starts at the dose we agreed, never higher, in the same room with the same doctor.
Week 3
Two-week review
Swelling has settled, so we see the true result and adjust it at no extra cost.
Week 12
Season review
Photographs taken in the same north light show what changed and what to leave alone.

Planned in North Light,
Checked in Daylight
Softglow works from a Victorian painter’s studio in St John’s Wood, built around one tall north-facing window. Painters chose that light because it stays even all day and shows skin as it really is.
Visit the studio
The light
Soft and even from morning to evening, so a face looks the same at every visit.
The plan
Every dose is decided by the window, where skin looks as others see it.
The review
At two weeks we check the result by the window and again outdoors in daylight.
Honest Answers
Before You Book
Anything we have not answered here, ask us on the phone or at your consultation. There is no charge for a question.
Contact the clinicWill people be able to tell?
Not unless you tell them. We dose for the face you have when you are rested, and we review every patient at two weeks, adding only what the review shows is needed.
Who carries out the treatment?
A doctor or a nurse prescriber, the same one at every visit. Nobody is treated before a consultation with a doctor.
What does the consultation cost?
£50 for forty-five minutes, taken off your first treatment if you go ahead.
Is there any downtime?
Most injectables leave a little redness for an hour. Peels and laser need two to seven days, which we plan with you.
How long do results last?
Anti-wrinkle injections last three to four months, fillers and skin boosters six to twelve. Your plan shows the dates.
Can I spread the cost?
Courses can be paid over three months at no extra cost.
Notes From
the Studio
Written by our clinicians, about method, skin and the seasons, and about why we so often do less.
All notesWhy we review every face at two weeks
Swelling settles, muscles relax and the result shows its true shape, so the review is where a plan is finished.
What north light shows that a ring light hides
Soft, even daylight is the most honest light for skin, which is why we photograph and plan in it.

Pigment treatments work best between October and March, so the plans that need them start in autumn.
